About the Nest
Welcome to the Nest
Regan Caton was inspired to create The Awarenest when she had trouble finding sustainable and green living resources in her community. Hearing about environmentally and socially responsible businesses through the grapevine or being lucky enough to find a ‘local food co-op’ just wasn’t enough. Regan began researching the possibilities of developing a website that would promote the green landscape for communities. Two years in making, she achieved her goal and has rallied a team of fine-feathered
friends dedicated to creating a strong network of community “nests “ that will inform, connect and build sustainable awareness.

*Operate in a home office
*Use green cleaning products
*Used sustainable products in build out and displays
To further our commitment toward a sustainable economy we recommend that our businesses apply for Third Party Certification when applicable.
Conscious Consumerism
Nesting thoughts on conscious consumerism…
As consumers we make a statement with every purchase. What we choose to consume is a personal choice and our purchases send a message. Spending and consuming influences the growth of a business and potential business trends. By making wise and thoughtful choices we promote and grow our green economy.
Being eco - conscious consumers, it’s our responsibility to support sustainable businesses, environmental conservation and ethical consumption. Conscious consumerism is a lifestyle choice; one action, one gesture makes a difference. The rewards are huge and there is no better feeling than working toward mindfulness and well being.
