Our vision is to build more sustainable community nests in counties across the country and have great general information available to everyone through the website. The Awarenest is building this powerful national platform of county websites for local users.  The Awarenest delivers education on sustainable and green living, eco-business listings, relevant community events and acts as a helpful forum to connect readers to their green community – all in one nest!  The business profile pages are attractive and easy-to-use by design and help businesses gain exposure, while highlighting their specific products or services. 

This is a grass roots organization offering a national network for county communities to create their own unique nests. Each county nest has a Branch Representative that oversees their community nest site independently with a focus on sustainable local advertising, local eco-friendly businesses, non-profits and municipalities. Branch Reps all have backgrounds in sustainability and a passion for making their communities the best in the nest. The true value of The Awarenst is that there are Branch Reps in each county who bring a personal touch and a true sense of community. Branch Reps know and work closely with each business in their community and you can count on someone who is carefully watching over the nest.
