Extensive research has proved that energy can be conserved if the unused parts of display panels are dimmed automatically. This practice can allow battery life to be extended from two to eleven times longer.

All HP notebook devices with an external power supply are created in a manner which only requires the power supply to use less than 1 watt when plugged into a power outlet.

HP has reduced the space and fuel required to ship products by replacing the normal shipping material with thin slip sheets.
