Regan Caton

Regan Caton was inspired to create The Awarenest when she had trouble finding sustainable and green living resources in her community. Hearing about green and socially responsible businesses through the grapevine or being lucky enough to find a ‘local food co-op’ just wasn’t enough. Regan began researching the possibilities and rallied a team of fine feathered friends who are dedicated to helping create a strong network of community ‘nests’ that will inform, connect and help build more sustainable local communities. The Awarenest is launching from it's home base in Morris County.

Rebekah Konn

Rebekah Konn believes that being green isn’t so much a choice as a series of choices we make every day. At the age of nine Rebekah began her environmentalism and vegetarianism when she learned that a whole family could be sustained for a lifetime on the same size plot of land that one beef steer could be reared. Her greatest joy is finding new ways to repurpose old things so that they escape the trash and bring new pleasure. She’s always on the lookout for smarter products that produce less waste and looks forward to bringing simple ideas into your home to make being green a simple no brainer.
